ENDA = End of Religious Freedom in America

Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) will soon have his shot at one of the homosexuals' crown jewels: the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA). After 16 years of back-and-forth, ENDA's chances for passage have never been better. "We have an agreed-upon bill," Rep. Frank told reporters. "We're going to get the bill voted on this spring--what people really ought to focus on is helping us get the vote. I think that we're pretty close, but it's not a done deal." As early as next week, the House Education and Labor Committee will start debating a bill that could do permanent damage to American liberty as we know it. Under this bill, the government will order businesses, including religious ones, to stuff their personal beliefs and hire gays and lesbians--even if the organization considers the lifestyle immoral. Essentially, Congress would be establishing a caste system, where the "rights" of homosexuals trump the First Freedoms of any employer. At the very least, it will force people out of business. At its worst, it will bully into silence every American who disagrees with homosexual behavior.

Socialism before it was a four-letter word

Milwaukee made political history. On April 5, 1910, we became the first (and only) major city in America to elect a Socialist mayor. A former patternmaker named Emil Seidel won a decisive victory in the spring election, beginning a period of Socialist success at the polls that would last until Frank Zeidler stepped down in 1960.

WI Judge Rules National Day of Prayer Unconstitutional

Had Judge Crabb consulted the Constitution she was sworn to uphold, she might notice that Americans enjoy religious freedom--not by virtue of the courts, but in spite of them. Furthermore, setting aside a day of corporate prayer is more than compatible with our nation's heritage; it is a responsibility assigned to every American by George Washington himself. "It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God... and humbly implore His protection and favor; and whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me to recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer" (Thanksgiving Proclamation, 1789).

Social Studies 2010

Group Work = Group Think - by Mary Grabar
To demonstrate one way social studies is “done” in Georgia a class of eleventh-graders was marched on stage and divided into little groups. The song “Home on the Range” was played for them and they were asked to answer questions about the “feelings” this song evoked in them, and then in various victims and victimizers associated with the settling of the American West—miners and mine owners, blacks and whites, Native Americans and whites. The young scholars then proceeded to collaborate, and believing themselves “critical thinkers,” came up with the correct answers! Of course, the bright, young geniuses knew that Native Americans would feel “sad” or “angry.”

Election Theft Underway in Wisconsin

More evidence the Obama Democrats are playing by Chicago rules, and rapidly altering the nature of our political regime. Nancy Pelosi's strong arm legislative tactics have metastasized to the state level in Wisconsin. According to a Republican Wisconsin state senator, Democrats there plan to change the election rules in November with inadequate scrutiny. In other words, a stealth attack on the integrity of the electoral process. Like ObamaCare, this is a change-the-game legislative proposal that could not withstand scrutiny.

Wisconsin Senator Glenn Grothman alerts us that Democrats are trying to push a radical 72-page bill less than 16 hours after its hearing. He writes:

Senate Bill 640 [is] a bill which radically changes Wisconsin election law going into this year's election. The 72-page bill was not even introduced until March 23.

Senate Bill 640 makes many changes to Wisconsin election law including the following:
  • 1) The bill allows municipalities to set up satellite absentee ballot stations for early voting. These stations apparently could be done in college dorms, outside of bars, or other inappropriate locals.
  • 2) The current open government practice of allowing any citizen to challenge individual ballots would end as monitoring of elections of statewide or national significance would be restricted to people who live within that polling district.
  • 3) Permanent absentee ballot status would be established in which ballots would be sent to people who historically do not vote in low-turnout elections. Currently, permanent absentee ballot status is restricted to people who are confined because of age, physical illness, infirmity, or disabled infinitely making them unable to get to the polls.
  • 4) University IDs could be offered as proof of residence for registration and voting.
  • 5) The increased cost of processing and mailing out the additional absentee ballots is an unfunded mandate that local municipalities will not be able to absorb.
  • 6) Local municipalities will be forced to hire speakers of a foreign language if at least 5% of the adults in their district are not English proficient.
  • 7) The bill proposes to set up a statewide database of voters that the authors said they would hope to link up to a national database.

"This is a shocking power grab some extremist Democrats are trying to change our laws so that more unqualified voters are able to vote and so that we are not able to determine whether or not voting fraud in fact took place," said Grothman. "That is clearly the motivation behind trying to have a much larger number of permanent absentee voters as well as preventing an individual outside a polling place to object to inappropriate voting."

Islamist Gülen Movement Runs U.S. Charter Schools

A secretive foreign network of Islamic radicals now operates dozens of charter schools -- which receive government money but are not required to adopt a state-approved curriculum -- on U.S. soil. The inspirer of this conspiratorial effort is Fethullah Gülen, who directs a major Islamist movement in Turkey and the Turkish Diaspora but lives in the United States. He is number thirteen among the world's "50 most influential Muslims," according to one prominent listing.

RUSE: The Girl Scout Sex Guide

Sharon Slater, a mother of seven, innocently walked into a panel sponsored by the Girl Scouts USA at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women a few weeks ago. Almost immediately she was asked to leave. All non-Scout adults were kicked out of the room, which was packed with adolescent girls.

Her curiosity piqued, Slater lingered by the door and when the panel ended she went immediately back inside to look around. What she found has shocked her and shocked Girl Scout moms around the country. Slater found a stack of brochures produced by Planned Parenthood called "Healthy, Happy and Hot" that among other things explained to the girls, "Some people have sex when they have been drinking or using drugs. That is your choice."

Minneapolis adopts Sharia-friendly loan program

What could go wrong? Well, for one thing, Sharia is a program for every aspect of life. So once one sets the precedent that it is good to accommodate Sharia, there is always more Sharia to accommodate -- including provisions institutionalizing discrimination against women and non-Muslims.

"Loan caters to Minneapolis Muslim business owners: The Alternative Finance Program respects Islamic law by offering fixed-rate loans," by Katherine Lymn for the Minnesota Daily, March 24 (thanks to Arafat):

An Islamic law enacted centuries ago was an obstacle for modern Minneapolis businesses until Minneapolis partnered with an African business resource group to allow Muslim business owners a way to both comply with their beliefs and invest in their businesses.

Since April 2007, the city of Minneapolis, in partnership with the African Development Center, has given out 38 loans in a way that is compliant to Islamic law by using a fixed rate in place of a variable interest rate.

Breaking Some Nuns' Bad Habits

Statements from nuns are flying around Capitol Hill as the health care debate moves toward a final vote. A small group of unorthodox nuns, no doubt at the urging of Democrats who are seeking divine intervention, re-issued a statement on Capitol Hill wrongly claiming that the Senate bill doesn't cover elective abortions. In response, the Council of Major Superiors of Women Religious, an order of more traditional nuns, issued a statement in support of the position of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). The Vatican was so disturbed by the sisters' letter that it released one of its own, warning America that the only group who speaks on the Church's behalf in Congress is the USCCB.

Putting Private Info on Government Database

Far more personal information on students than is necessary is being collected by public schools, according to the Fordham Law School Center on Law and Information Policy, which investigated education records in all 50 states. States are failing to safeguard students' privacy and protect them from data misuse. Some states collect a lot of data that has nothing to do with student test scores, including Social Security numbers, disciplinary records, family wealth indicators, student pregnancies, student mental health, illness, and jail sentences. A couple of states record the date of a student's last medical exam and a student's weight.

The Fordham study reported that this collection of information is often not compliant with a 35-year-old law, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). The only punishment for a FERPA violation is for the Department of Education to withhold federal education funding, but the Department has never done that. The building of databases that track students from pre-school through entry into the workforce began with the emphasis in the 1990s on testing and standards, and was expanded under "No Child Left Behind" mandates. This data collection has been proceeding at what observers call a "breakneck pace" under the Obama Administration because of the offer of federal grants awarded through the Race to the Top competition, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, and $250 million in Stimulus funds.

Fordham law professor Joel R. Reidenberg, who oversaw the Fordham study, said that states are "trampling the privacy interests of those students." He warns that years later, when these kids are adults, information from their elementary, middle and high school years can easily be misused by hackers and others.

Bill Gates: Use vaccines to lower population

One of the world's wealthiest men and the founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, has suggested vaccines as one method of reducing the world's population. Gates made his remarks to the invitation-only Technology, Entertainment and Design 2010 Conference in Long Beach, Calif. His February address was titled, "Innovating to Zero!" He presented a speech on global warming, stating that CO2 emissions must be reduced to zero by 2050. Gates said every person on the planet puts out an average of about five tons of CO2 per year. "Somehow we have to make changes that will bring that down to zero," he said. "It's been constantly going up. It's only various economic changes that have even flattened it at all. So we have to go from rapidly rising to falling, and falling all the way to zero."

Workers Charged With Felony Voter Fraud IN WISCONSIN

Five Wisconsin residents, including two who worked for community organizing group ACORN, were charged Monday with election fraud relating to the 2008 presidential election. State Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced felony charges against Maria Miles, Kevin Clancy, Michael Henderson, Herbert Gunka and Suzanne Gunka.

Miles and Clancy worked for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now and are accused of submitting multiple voter registration applications for the same individuals, including each other, to meet voter registration quotas imposed by the community organizing group.

Henderson is charged with one count of voting by a disqualified person and providing false information to election officials. The allegation claims he was on a felony probation and prohibited from voting at the time. Herbert and Suzanne Gunka are each charged with double voting -- a felony -- by allegedly absentee voting and then going to the polls to vote.

Trading places: Former CDC boss joins Big Pharma

Dr. Julie Gerberding, former head of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, has landed a sweet job in the lap of Big Pharma luxury. She’s gone from making public health decisions on meds from companies like Merck… to running a key Merck division.

We all think about the future from time to time. I wonder what was running through Dr. Gerberding’s mind during her seven years in charge of the CDC… and if it ever had an impact on the decisions she made there. After all, as head of the CDC, Dr. Gerberding was a tireless advocate. Just not for you. She put much of her time and energy into promoting Big Pharma vaccines, including Gardasil – Merck’s dangerous HPV vaccine (I hate calling it that – because it actually offers only limited protection from some strains of the virus).

In fact, under her watch, the CDC began aggressively pushing Gardasil on young girls. Someone at Merck must have noticed… because in her new role, she’ll oversee the company’s $5 billion-per-year vaccine business. That includes Gardasil, flu shots, chicken pox vaccines and more.

*ALERT* - Electronic Medical Records for WI

We just learned hours ago that there will be a public hearing on SB579 which would implement an electronic medical records system in the state of Wisconsin. As of right now the bill is not even electronically available for the public to review!

You may have heard about the BILLIONS in federal dollars that were set aside last Feb in the “stimulus” bill that was passed last February. This will be the beginning of rationing health care in this state.

To learn more please read the following articles:
Obama Gives What the Doctor Did Not Order
Ruin Your Health With the Obama Stimulus Plan: Betsy McCaughey
Downgrading American Medical Care

This is the description from the author of the bill:
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act) includes $34 billion in incentive payments for private health care providers to purchase and implement electronic medical record systems. We estimate that health care providers in Wisconsin will be eligible for between $500 and $800 million in incentive payments for establishing electronic medical record systems. In order to capitalize on the funding available Wisconsin must first have a statewide health information exchange infrastructure that allows health care providers to share electronic patient data with each other, while protecting patient confidentiality, privacy, and security of the information. This legislation will create a private-public structure to implement and oversee the state-level health information exchange as a means of driving improved healthcare quality and efficiency. This organization will work in concert with existing health care providers but will not impose mandates or overrule their existing processes. The health information exchange refers to the process of electronic sharing of health-related information conducted in a manner that protects the confidentiality, privacy, and security of the information. An HIE can improve health care coordination through the use of electronic health records (EHRs), provide key information to individuals to promote their health and wellness, and support research, public health, emergency response, and quality improvement. The federal funding that will come with the creation of the statewide HIE will benefit not only private sector health care providers in our state but Wisconsin based information technology vendors who serve hospitals and clinics across the nation.

1. Please consider testifying at the public hearing tomorrow. Details are below

2. If you cannot make it please contact the committee members to submit your written testimony and ask that it be part of the public record

3. Contact your legislators and let them know you oppose this bill

FOX NEWS: Planned Parenthood Pushes Intensive Sex Education for Kids as Young as 10

A new report by the International Planned Parenthood Federation is advocating that children as young as 10 be given extensive sex education, including an awareness of sex's pleasures.
Michelle Turner, president of the Maryland-based Citizens for a Responsible Curriculum, said Planned Parenthood was simply trying to eliminate parental say. "What are they trying to do? They are trying to eliminate the role of mom and dad in the family," Turner said. "For Planned Parenthood to decide that governments, private organizations and religious organizations should make decisions about kids' sexuality is just going too far." "It is part of a bigger push to change the way we think about sex," she said. That sex is all about pleasure and there are no consequences. They are wrong. No matter how much we teach children, some will make mistakes. They will forget. And Planned Parenthood doesn't want to deal with that," she said. "They see religious groups, especially those that counsel abstinence and waiting until marriage, as bad guys," she added. "We aren't."

More Seedy Alliances!!!!

The "non-political" community organizing Gamaliel foundation is part of ProjectVote.org who:

Since 1982 Project Vote has helped over six million Americans complete applications to register to vote. Working with our field partner, the community organization ACORN, Project Vote in 2007-2008 conducted the largest and most comprehensive voter registration drive in the history of our two organizations, a 21-state community-based operation that succeeded in collecting over 1.3 million voter registration applications.

Low and behold, Frances Fox Piven is a board member. One of the authors of the CLOWARD-PIVEN STRATEGY

I am curious to know why the Gamaliel Foundation continues to form alliances with people/organizations that are avowed Socialists and want to destroy America.

THANK YOU Bishop David Ricken

My hope is that other Bishops in this state, around the country AND other churches will follow the great example of Bishop Ricken and cut ties with these socialist “interfaith” groups.

WI Council of Churches

A regional governing body of the largest Presbyterian denomination in the country has voted to ordain a gay Madison man with a long-term partner, bucking national church policy that bars gays and lesbians in open relationships from the ministry and perhaps setting a precedent. The decision Saturday in Madison by the John Knox Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church (USA) is expected to have a national impact and be challenged by opponents.

Members of the presbytery, which encompasses parts of Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin, voted 81 to 25 to ordain Scott Anderson, 54. Anderson said he's been in a committed relationship with a man for 19 years. For the last seven years, he has been the executive director of the Wisconsin Council of Churches in Sun Prairie, an association of 13 denominations that promotes unity among Christian churches. He expects to continue in the role after ordination but hopes to return to parish ministry one day.

Diocese of Green Bay to Gamaliel Groups: “The end does not justify the means”

Organizing Kids for Obama

President Barack Obama's budget has added more than $100 billion of federal taxpayers' money to what is called "education," so that means it will be spent by alumni of the Saul Alinsky school of radical community organizing and/or the Chicago Democratic machine. We're indebted to Pamela Geller of AtlasShrugs.com for exposing the shocking use of some of these funds.

Obama is using the public schools to recruit a private army of high-schoolers to "build on the movement that elected President Obama by empowering students across the country to help us bring about our agenda." We now know that Obama's "agenda" is to move the United States into European-style Socialism.

Obama's internet outreach during his campaign, Obama for America, has been renamed Organizing for America (OFA) in order to recruit students to join a cult of Obama and become activists for his goals. Geller discovered that the teacher of an 11th-grade government class in Massillon, Ohio, passed out the sign-up sheet, headed with Obama's "O" logo, asking students to become interns for Organizing for America.

These interns will be given an intensive nine-week training course using comprehensive lesson plans. Assigned readings include Saul Alinsky's notorious Rules for Radicals, Stir It Up: Lessons from Community Organizing and Advocacy by the left-wing activist Rinku Sen, and particular sections of Dreams From My Father dealing with Obama's days as a community organizer in Chicago.

Republican students will be filtered out of the intern program by requiring applicants to answer questions that reveal their politics. One example is, "What one issue facing our country is important to you and why?"

Geller said the purpose of this training to become Alinsky-style community organizers, is "of course, to elect more Democrats." The internship program is specifically geared to get the kids working in the 2010 elections.

The sign-up sheet for Organizing for America starts with this instruction: "Organizing for America, the successor organization to Obama for America, is building on the movement that elected President Obama by empowering students across the country to help us bring about our agenda of change." The application explains that this national internship program is "working to make the change we fought so hard for in 2008 a reality in 2010 and beyond."

MUST READ ARTICLE - JOSHUA Connections Worrisome

At a Jan. 16 meeting at Green Bay's Union Congregational Church, the state director of WISDOM, an umbrella group for JOSHUA and 10 sister units, was asked what most influenced the operation of the organization. "First, Saul Alinsky; second, the Civil Rights movement and third, labor organizations," he said.

The latter two are household phrases. Saul Alinsky is a conundrum.

Alinsky is a self-proclaimed Marxist. He also is a profound elitist. He initiated the 20th century model of grass-roots organizing and wrote "Rules for Radicals" for those who would follow him. One of his persistent mantras was that the end justifies the means: "Do what you can with what you have and clothe it in moral garments."

He kept company with Al Capone, the first Mayor Richard Daley and Marshall Field III, an eclectic group to say the least. Alinsky said he would never join an organization he helped create. Too confining, he said, and one wears out his welcome.

Alinsky used community churches and their leaders to determine issues and provide a foundation for his organizational efforts. Churches were the bedrock of a neighborhood and offered experienced and respected citizens for those efforts. And they did not question his socialistic goals.

Alinsky started the Industrial Areas Foundation to accept organizing funds from other foundations, his wealthy friends, churches and corporations. It exists today.

The Gamaliel Foundation was created by Gregory Galluzzo and is cut from the same cloth as the IAF. Gamaliel's Web site says it "is an organizing institute that brings together communities of people living out our faith and values to bring about justice and collectively transform our society." The organization envisions units in every metropolitan area and would break down whatever local ordinances it deemed in opposition to its socialistic goals.

Treachery of America's Church Leaders

The Gamaliel Foundation and its affiliates are one of America's fifth column agencies that seek to destroy America from within by aiding, abetting and comforting the enemy - the elite Global Socialists - as chronicled in The Treachery of America's Fifth Columns.

This foundation is a dangerous, leftist, ACORN-like community organization that has settled in 19 states (CA, CT, GA, HI, IA, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, MO, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, VA, WI, WV), Great Britain, and South Africa. Because their modus operandi is to move incrementally within local church communities via stealth and deception, there has been negligible national coverage of their activities.

The Chicago-based Gamaliel Foundation required Obama to hijack and exploit church membership into a larger left leaning political force, as pointed out by Stanley Kurtz in "What We Know About Obama." Obama 'cut his teeth' as a Gamaliel community organizer in Chicago. He is celebrated and thanked on their website for organizing HOPE for America and the world.

The book Rules For Radicals by Saul Alinsky is recommended reading for Gamaliel Foundation followers. Although Gamaliel works within the Christian church community, organizing mentor Saul Alinsky dedicates his book to Lucifer and praises the POLITICAL PARADISE OF COMMUNISM. Where is our society heading with spiritual leaders embracing the principles of Marxism and Lucifer?

WISCONSIN - 3 MINUTES
Wisconsin has worked faithfully with dozens of allies throughout our state to act democratically.
WISDOM of Wisconsin has grown again!
With the addition of NAOMI in Wausau, we are now 10 organizations.
WISDOM brought over 300 people to Madison to send clear messages to our legislature in March.
We won in-state tuition rates for children of undocumented workers in our state. We started a series of 2-day training for dozens of new leaders
In Kenosha, CUSH held a rally of more than 650 people for Immigrant Rights.
In Racine, RIC got the Mayor to agree to form an Immigrant Commission, to meet with the heads of every City department on a regular basis to advise them about the needs of immigrants.
In Milwaukee, MICAH passed the MORE ordinance – a ground-breaking measure that will require everyone who does business with the City to hire more local, underemployed people and to pay them prevailing wage. In Waukesha County, SOPHIA got a fiscally conservative County Board to greatly increase its budget for an Alcohol Treatment Court and other alternatives to incarceration
In the Fox Valley, ESTHER held huge rallies for Health Care reform, earning them national recognition , national news coverage, and increased attention from allies AND adversaries.
In Green Bay, JOSHUA collected over 450 petitions to end ICE raids and presented them to our local Congressmen, and organized 400 people for a health care rally.
In Eau Claire, JONAH’s Environmental Task Force got the County to fund and implement a major new recycling initiative.
In La Crosse, AMOS held its first-ever fundraising banquet and published its first-ever fundraising Ad Book.
In Beloit, JOB held two major training events which set the stage for them to expand to become a regional organization which will include Madison and several surrounding counties.
ILA, for WISDOM there is no turning back, as we join the rest of Gamaliel in moving powerfully through the Gateway to the Future.

STOP Wisconsin's Global Warming Bills!

Governor Doyle's Global Warming Bills (Senate Bill 450/Assembly Bill 649) are being fast-tracked through the State Legislature. These bills will have an absolutely devastating impact on Wisconsin especially since we have already lost over 163,000 jobs in the last year. Wisconsin can not afford for the Legislature to pass even a compromised version of either SB450 or AB649.

Obama Surrendering Internet to Foreign Powers

Look no further than China's recent move against Google to censor the Internet, and you can envision what can happen when other nations less free than the United States seek to control the Internet beyond even their own borders.

America needs to wake up. If we lose control over the management of the Internet, we have given away one of our nation's greatest assets with nothing in return to show for it.

The Obama administration's actions will set in motion a slow and complete takeover of the Internet by the United Nations or some other equally U.S.-hostile and unfriendly international body. And once it is gone, it will be gone forever.

Conference of Catholic Bishops Exec Chaired Pro-Abortion, LGBT Rights Group

A national group that promotes abortion and homosexual rights has deep ties with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ (USCCB) Department of Justice, Peace and Human Development, according to a report released Monday. Top USCCB executive John Carr held simultaneous leadership roles, creating a conflict of interest, with the USCCB and the radical Center for Community Change. “The closer we look at the Bishops’ Conference [staff and programs], the more we find a systemic pattern of cooperation with evil,” said Michael Hichborn, American Life League’s lead researcher into the USCCB scandal. “The CCC has lodged itself into the highest places of power in the USCCB while working to promote abortion and homosexuality.”

John Carr is the USCCB executive director of the Department of Justice Peace and Human Development which oversees the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD). He has been employed by the USCCB since 1987. John Carr’s relationship with the Center for Community Change goes back at least to 1983, serving in leadership roles from 1999 to 2006 – including as chairman of the board. The Reform CCHD Now report details the organization’s promotion of abortion, “reproductive rights” and homosexuality as among the CCC’s core advocacy focuses.

WI Letting Criminals Out Early

The state Department of Corrections announced the early release of twenty-two inmates last week– the first Wisconsin prisoners let out under 2009’s sweeping sentencing modifications. In 15 of those cases, or nearly 70 percent of cases, the Wisconsin Policy Research Institute has found elected judges had previously denied the inmates’ early release.
