Planned Parenthood Tells Parents They Should Give Babies Sense of Sexuality from Birth

Sick.......

A program touted as “a bold, nationwide, social change effort” is being launched by Planned Parenthood to alter family dialogue about sexuality and encourage parents to ease their children’s transition into a sexually active lifestyle.

Entitled “Real Life. Real Talk,” the program was first used in Connecticut, New York, Maine, and Arizona between 2004 and 2008, and its nationwide distribution is now being funded by groups that include the Ford Foundation.

The stated goal of the program is “to positively change the social climate in communities” with “more open, honest, and balanced talk” about sex; it targets parents and guardians of children as young as 8 years old.

“A more positive social climate will, over time, help to ensure that people — particularly young people — have adequate information and services to enable them to make healthy sexual choices,” states Planned Parenthood, noting that “getting people to talk openly ... about ... sensitive or stigmatized” issues is always “a critical step in making social change happen.”

Pervert School Administator

The New Holstein school administrator charged with soliciting a child for sex left the Madison Metropolitan School District in 2005 after being caught viewing pornography on his work computer, a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed Wednesday.

Christopher J. Nelson, administrator of the New Holstein School District, worked in Madison for five years and left citing health reasons and disagreements with administrative proposals to eliminate athletic positions, according to a 2005 report in the Wisconsin State Journal. But the source said the discovery of pornography on Nelson's computer in the Madison district "led to … parting ways."

The source noted the images were not child pornography, so no criminal investigation was done and Nelson was allowed to resign his post. Nelson was the district's coordinator of physical education, health and athletics.

The Power Of Teachers' Unions

The recent events in Wisconsin, in which unionized teachers behaved like third-world mobs, is a stark reminder of what a grave mistake it was to permit government employees to unionize. Since government employees have always had job security and benefits that many workers in the private sector couldn’t dream of getting, there was no need for them to unionize unless they wanted to use union power to intimidate legislators and extort more money from the taxpayers.

Examples of Unions Holding WI Taxpayers Hostage

1. Green Bay Teachers join collectively bargained retiree emeritus program which pays one year’s salary over 3 years for 30 days of work in addition to their normal pension. If a teacher retires at $60k, it works out to $2k/day.

2. Madison Emeritus program only pays 19% of salary but the retirees get to be retirees and not work for the money that is paid on top of their regular pension.

3. Milwaukee Teachers Union has collectively bargained regular pension and “supplemental pensions”

4. Milwaukee Teachers Union sacrifices 482 jobs rather than take a cut for its members. Among the victims is a teacher of the year who didn't have the seniority to stay.

5. Teachers Union fights Cedarburg School Board over their attempt to fire a teacher for viewing porn at work.

6. Madison pays bus driver 159k via collectively bargained overtime rules.

7. Wausau Union fights allowing a man to be volunteer crossing guard. Principal Steve Miller says, "He said, you know, this gives me a reason to get up in the morning to come and help these kids in the neighborhood."

8. Prison guards use loophole of pairing extra shifts @ OT pay and calling in sick to scam taxpayers out of extra pay for the same (or less) work. http://www.jsonline.com/news/wisconsin/29511574.html

Taxpayers Win in Wisconsin

Congratulations to Wisconsin Republicans, who held together this week to pass their government union reforms despite unprecedented acting out by Democrats and their union allies. Three weeks ago we described this battle as a foretaste of Greece come to America, but maybe there's hope for taxpayers after all.

The good news is that Governor Scott Walker's reforms have been worth the fight on the policy merits. The conventional media wisdom is that Mr. Walker "overreached" by proposing limits on the ability of government unions to bargain collectively for benefits. But before he offered those proposals, Democrats and unions had refused to support his plan that public workers pay more for their pensions and health care. Only later did they concede that these changes were reasonable and will spare thousands of public workers from layoffs.

State Says Damage to Marble at Capitol Could Hit $7.5 Million

State officials said Thursday that damage to the marble inside and out the State Capitol would cost an estimated $7.5 million. Cari Anne Renlund, chief legal counsel for the state Department of Administration, said in Dane County court that estimates of damage to marble includes $6 million to repair damaged marble inside the Capitol, $1 million for damage outside and $500,000 for costs to supervise the damage.

WI Community Organizers Stand With the Unions

WISDOM, the interfaith network of congregation-based justice organizations, calls on Governor Walker and the Wisconsin legislature to abandon any plans to undermine or remove the collective bargaining rights of workers.

Our religious traditions speak clearly about the fundamental right of workers in the public and private sectors to be organized into unions which can defend their interests. We are pleased to see that Methodist Bishop Lee, Catholic Archbishop Listecki, Rabbi Biatch and ELCA Bishop Burnside are among those who have spoken out against the radical policy changes being proposed in the “budget repair” process, which would take away long-established rights from many Wisconsin workers.

Green Bay Bishop Cuts Ties With Chicago-Style Community Organizers

Green Bay Bishop David Ricken has ordered Catholic parishes in the diocese to cut corporate ties to JOSHUA, ESTHER and other non-Catholic social justice organizations. Ricken complimented the work being done by the Green Bay-based JOSHUA and the Fox Cities-based ESTHER of the Fox Valley, but expressed concern that without Catholic oversight, the groups' political positions could stray from Catholic teachings.

"An undesirable result of dual affiliations could be that a conflict could place our parishioners in a very difficult position of having to choose between their Catholic Church authority and another parallel organization," Ricken said in a statement. "Therefore, I am directing our parishes to withdraw their corporate membership in these organizations, effective July 1, 2011."

The directive will affect 15 of the diocese's 157 parishes, including eight in Brown County and seven in Outagamie and Winnebago counties. The order won't preclude individual Catholics from belonging to either group, and parishes would still be encouraged to work with those and other groups on specific projects consistent with Catholic social teaching, Ricken said.

Terror Expert: Time for a Shariah Wake-up Call

The Muslim cleric who warned Sean Hannity that radical Islam is at America’s backdoor personifies the threat to the West, and it is time to issue a wakeup call — particularly in the United States — that the menace is real, a terrorism expert said Thursday on Fox News. Commenting on Hannity’s fiery exchange with Sheik Anjem Choudary (pictured) on Wednesday, Brigitte Gabriel of ACT! For America also said the cleric was a perfect example of a Western-born Muslim falling under a fanatical spell.

In addition, Gabriel noted the spread of Islamic radicalism, and the sheik’s threat the world eventually will succumb to Shariah, is fueled by the Muslim Brotherhood, as part of a master plan.

Frances Fox Piven and the “Orchestrated Crisis” Strategy

Born in Alberta, Canada in 1932, Frances Fox Piven earned a Ph.D. in social science from the University of Chicago in l962. Today she is a professor of political science and sociology at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, where she has taught since 1982. She was formerly a professor at Columbia University.

Piven and her late husband, Columbia social-work professor Richard Cloward, are best known for having outlined, in 1966, the so-called Cloward-Piven Strategy – a tactic which seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading government bureaucracies with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into "a profound financial and political crisis" that would unleash "powerful forces … for major economic reform at the national level."

In 1966 Piven was a panel member at a Socialist Scholars Conference in New York. There, she and her husband presented a paper proposing that the poor should engage in "irregular and disruptive tactics" designed to overburden city and state governments with demands for welfare money – the ultimate objective being to force those governments to turn to the federal government for assistance. Such “disruption of the system,” said Piven, would result in a situation where:

“Welfare rolls will begin to go up; welfare payments will begin to go up – the impact will be very, very sharp. The mounting welfare budget will increase taxes, force cities to turn to the federal government. We have to help people to make claims; for this they will organize and act."

Beginning in 1967, Piven served as an advisor to the newly formed National Welfare Rights Organization.

A Sight for Soros Eyes AND AOL Goes Liberal

Even teen hookers need abortions. It's not exactly bumper sticker material, but so far that's the best the Left has to offer in defense of Planned Parenthood. After a clinic worker was caught on tape helping a child prostitution ring "look as legit as possible," the nation's biggest abortion factory has become almost hysterical with panic. In the days since Lila Rose's explosive new video, Planned Parenthood has elevated its threat level and enlisted as many allies as possible to vouch for the organization (which has now been implicated in 12 Live Action videos).

On a strategy call organized by billionaire liberal George Soros, Planned Parenthood asked its allies to try and deflect some of the negative attention away from the abortion industry by ramping up their attacks of Lila Rose. Now that Planned Parenthood is vulnerable, liberals are circling the wagons, understanding that any more slip-ups could mean the end of their federal gravy train. This week, 27 liberal groups came out swinging in the press--led by Soros's Media Matters, which quickly organized a letter of support for Planned Parenthood's new outreach to pimps. "Right-wing groups are once again attempting to destroy an organization dedicated to providing crucial primary care services to Americans that need them most..."

The Muslim Brotherhood’s Quest for World Domination

Founded in 1928 by the Egyptian schoolteacher/activist Hasan al-Banna (a devout admirer of Adolf Hitler and the Nazis), the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) -- a Sunni entity -- is one of the oldest, largest and most influential Islamist organizations in the world. While Egypt historically has been the center of the Brotherhood’s operations, the group today is active in more than 70 countries (some estimates range as high as 100+). Islam expert Robert Spencer has called MB "the parent organization of Hamas and al Qaeda." In 2003, Richard Clarke – the chief counterterrorism advisor on the U.S. National Security Council during both the Bill Clinton and George W. Bush administrations – told a Senate committee that Hamas, al Qaeda, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad were all "descendants of the membership and ideology of the Muslim Brothers."

China Invades U.S. With 'Free-Trade Zones'

China has decided to invade the United States, not with tanks and airplanes, but with an army of workers to develop what are being called "free-trade zones" within the U.S., Jerome Corsi's Red Alert reports.

Officials of the China National Machinery Industry Corporation have suggested developing a technology zone occupying 10,000 to 30,000 acres south of the Boise airport for industry, retail centers and homes.

A key argument of Corsi's book, "America for Sale: Fighting the New World Order, Surviving a Global Depression, and Preserving USA Sovereignty," is that China will not long continue to subsidize the Obama administration's trillion-dollar annual federal budget deficits without demanding U.S. assets in return.

Chinese-born pianist Lang Lang gave a musical shout out to America-hating patriots in his homeland when he played at the White House state dinner last week. Chinese President Hu Jintao, the guest of honor at the dinner, surely recognized the melody. The song has been a favorite anti-American propaganda tool for decades. Lang apparently knew exactly what he was playing.

Obama's Plan to Admit Mexican Trucks

It is amazing that, with unemployment unacceptably high, the Obama Administration has endorsed a plan that will cost U.S. jobs and make highway driving for Americans more dangerous and less pleasant. Obama wants to admit Mexican trucks to drive on all U.S. highways and roads.

Todd Spencer, executive vice president of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, explained what this means: "U.S. truckers would be forced to forfeit their own economic opportunities while companies and drivers from Mexico, free from equivalent regulatory burdens, take over their traffic lanes." We wonder if Mexico has any regulatory standards at all.

Mexican trucks are known to be overweight and lacking in safety regulations we consider essential, such as anti-lock brakes. Mexico doesn't have national databases that track drivers' records, background checks, drug usage, and arrests, and it's known to be easy to get a commercial driver's license with a bribe.

Tea Party vs. United Methodist Church

A prominent Tea Party activist recently called for shutting down the 7.8 million United Methodist Church, exciting the Huffington Post and various liberal bloggers. Tea Party Nation President Judson Phillips last month saw and disliked a banner at the Methodist Building on Capitol Hill demanding: "Pass the DREAM Act." The sign referred, of course, to now failed legislation seeking to legalize some illegal aliens brought to the U.S. as minors.

"I have a DREAM," Phillips responded. "That is, no more United Methodist Church." He recalled having left Methodism as a teenager because the denomination is "little more than the first Church of Karl Marx" and the "'religious arm' of socialism."

Phillips notes, not inaccurately, that the Methodist denomination, officially, is "pro-illegal immigration" and "in the bag for socialist health care," opposed U.S. force after 9/11, is big on Global Warming, and is anti-Israel.

By now you may have heard the gruesome story that broke earlier this week in Philadelphia. A grand jury indicted an abortionist named Kermit Gosnell and nine of his associates for running a clinic that district attorney Seth Williams called a "house of horrors."

Gosnell and his associates are charged with eight counts of murder for the deaths of seven babies and one adult woman. According to Williams, "A doctor who with scissors cuts into the necks, severing the spinal cords of living, breathing babies who would survive with proper medical attention commits murder under the law." He went on to add, "My comprehension of the English language can't adequately describe the barbaric nature of Dr. Gosnell."

For the month of February alone, at least five major interfaith events are being planned. Four of the five will target Americans, while the fifth event will have a global audience. Public Funding Folly

Those who regard taxpayer financing of any campaign for public office as a bad idea can take special delight in the embarrassment that has befallen public funding of Wisconsin Supreme Court races.
Two of the four candidates have met the arcane qualifications for public funding. One who did not, liberal bureaucrat Marla Stephens of the state Public Defender’s office, spins her decision not to take the tax money this way: “we want to have the resources we need to get our message out to the whole state. This is a campaign to bring justice to all of us, rich people and poor people and everyone in-between."

We've Got a Groovy Kind of Gov

......Three other freshmen governors plan to make that clear right off the bat. Governors John Kasich (R-Ohio) and Scott Walker (R-Wisc.) have announced that their states are joining Florida's massive lawsuit against ObamaCare. Oklahoma's Governor, Mary Fallin (R), said the Sooners will file their own case--bringing the grand total of states now suing the law to 25, or half of the entire country. Elsewhere, former Governor Tim Pawlenty is fighting another law--Congress's repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." During an interview earlier this week with our friends at American Family Association, he refused to back down from a position that three of the four military service chiefs share, which is that allowing open homosexuality in our ranks will devastate national security. "I have been a public and repeat supporter of maintaining 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell,'" he said. "There's a lot of reasons for that, but if you look at how the combat commanders and the combat unions feel about it, the results of those kinds of surveys were different than the ones that were mostly reported in the newspaper, and that is something I think we need to pay attention to. But I have been a public supporter of maintaining 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell,' and I would support reinstating it as well." Those are the kind of leaders we need in Washington--people who aren't afraid to stand with voters and reflect who we really are as a nation.

Health Care Reform II: Revenge of the Taxpayer

January 12 may be National Marzipan Day, but if House Republicans have a say, it'll be remembered for a whole lot more. Yesterday, Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) made the announcement that most Americans have been waiting for: a vote to repeal the oppressive, expensive, abortion-funding health care law will take place sooner rather than later. Next Wednesday, to be exact. Our sources tell us that floor debate on repealing ObamaCare will begin on Friday, with a final vote scheduled for January 12. In the 296 days since the bill was signed, the country's outrage over the policy hasn't dampened. If anything, Americans are opposed to the law now more than ever. Although Democrats are criticizing the move as "symbolic," Rep. Nan Hayworth (R-N.Y.) told Fox News her job is to listen to voters. "They want it repealed, so whether or not the vote will be symbolic will depend on what the Senate and our President does. It's entirely meaningful within the context of what the House is doing. That's what we were elected to do."

Facing the Facts in 2011: America's Culture War and How to Fight It

As America enters the year of 2011, new government officials are taking their seats all over the nations, at all levels of government. If our nation is to survive and thrive (neither of which has been happening in recent years), we must all face certain fundamental facts and act accordingly. In this "Briefing" we take an overview of key facts, which we will examine in more detail in later "Briefings." Three such facts are:

1. America is, and has for decades been, engulfed in the flames of a Culture War;

2. The Constitution has long been a white-hot center of this War and we therefore must Revive the Constitution!;

3. The Courts continue to be the major "weapon of choice" of the forces fighting against the Constitution and the culture in the Culture War.

As a part of their anti-Constitution, anti-America campaign, some of these enemies try to deny that there even is such a thing as a "Culture War." But Judge and jurist Robert Bork decisively eliminates this argument: "Despite the denials by some that any such conflict exists, the culture war is an obtrusive fact." As Roger Kimball observed in 2000, "[a war within a culture] results first of all in a metamorphosis in values and the other conduct of life." And, continues Bork, "Courts inevitably assume the role of moral teachers."

Democrats Give One More Big Favor to George Soros

While Congressional Democrats dawdle away on deciding our tax rates and refuse to pass a budget, they still find time to pass on favors to special interest groups and people. The latest big favor comes to the sugar daddy that has funded so many of their campaigns and was an early supporter of Barack Obama: George Soros.
From our friends at Investors Business Daily:

A questionable food safety bill in search of a crisis passed the Senate, but may hit a snag in the House. This power grab of the nation's food supply may end up benefiting a certain Hungarian billionaire. Why would the Senate take up precious time in the lame duck session considering a food safety bill?

TAKE ACTION: Dream Act: The nightmare that never ends

This week, liberals in the House and Senate are working to repay their political allies during the lame duck session before they lose considerable power. We are told that the Dream Act, which will allow “back door” amnesty for potentially millions of illegal aliens, could come to the House floor for a vote next week. Harry Reid has also filed cloture on the Dream Act in the Senate, so it could come to the Senate floor very soon as well.

We need to get the message through to the liberals once and for all that Americans will not tolerate amnesty for illegal aliens. At a time when economic growth is slow and many Americans are struggling to make ends meet, lawmakers need to spend the remainder of the lame duck session addressing the looming Obama tax hikes — not clobbering American taxpayers with even heavier financial burdens!

Peeping in the Pew - Catholic's for Equality

In Luke 21, Jesus warns his followers that the day would come when family and friends will betray His true followers. The betrayal would occur because these followers would continue to speak the truth even when it wasn't popular--and despite the unpopularity of the message, it could not successfully be opposed or resisted. As a result, they would be "hated" by even those closest to them because of Christ. I would not necessarily put the George Soros-funded group "Catholics for Equality" in a category of "family" or "friends," but one of their latest efforts, as pointed out by Thomas Peters of CatholicVote.org, is further evidence of how the Left is losing the public debate over the policy objectives of the homosexual agenda. Catholics for Equality has launched a campaign (soon to be equipped with smart phone apps) that would allow people attending Catholic mass to report--directly from the pews--a priest or bishop who speaks about marriage or family in a way they deem "hateful." There will also be a way, according to Aniello Alioto, the political director for liberal Progress Now, to contribute to the campaign "as the Holy Spirit moves them." For those who've bought into the well-crafted media spin from homosexuals that all that they want is tolerance, this should be a revelation. In truth, nothing--not even the Church--will be tolerated if it doesn't affirm their behavior.

Senate Bill 510, the Food Safety Modernization Act, has been called "the most dangerous bill in the history of the United States of America." It would grant them the power to arrest and imprison people selling cucumbers at farmer's markets. It would criminalize the transporting of organic produce if you don't comply with the authoritarian rules of the federal government.

"It will become the most offensive authority against the cultivation, trade and consumption of food and agricultural products of one's choice. It will be unconstitutional and contrary to natural law or, if you like, the will of God." - Dr. Shiv Chopra, Canada Health whistleblower.

America’s Biggest Problem: The Breakdown of the Family

The Left and the social welfare establishment wants children born out of wedlock because they are far more likely to be dependent on the government. They are 20 times more likely to wind up in prison and 9 times more likely to drop out of school. Well-known author Charles Murray said, Children born out of wedlock, are “the single most important social problem of our time – more important than crime, drugs, poverty, illiteracy, welfare, or homelessness because it drives everything else.”

While we can talk about jobs, education, or crime, our economy and freedoms will inevitably decline as long as the number of children born out of wedlock keeps going up. Was this caused by the government, and if so, what are the politicians going to do to turn things around? Let’s look at current programs that are given largely to single parents that they would almost certainly lose if two working parents were married.

EGGsplotation - The Darkside of the Infertility Industry

To the infertility industry, eggs spell enormous profit. The natural monthly rhythm of a woman's cycle is far too inefficient to satisfy the industry's voracious appetite. Consequently, egg donors are in hot demand. Infertility programs and their egg brokers place ads targeting young, healthy, college-aged women, characteristically altruistic, and short of cash, promising up to $50,000 in exchange for a carton of fresh eggs. A few weeks is all it takes. The risks are played down and the benefits seem obvious.

High dosages of fertility drugs, synthetic hormones called gonadotropins, are administered to superovulate the donor to produce eggs. Soreness, breast tenderness, mood swings, headaches and mild fluid retention can be anticipated. But over-hyperstimulation (called "ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome," or OHSS) is also possible. Should a donor be so unlucky, she might suffer excruciating abdominal pain, blood clots, infections, kidney failure, loss of her ovaries, shock, and, in rare cases, death. Oh, by the way, don't neglect to read the fine print: If because of complications a donor fails to deliver a full carton, jackpot's off. After all, a deal's a deal.

Impugning also the U.S. for the “critical role” it has played in the Arab-Israeli conflict over the years, JVP calls on America to "stop supporting repressive policies in Israel and elsewhere."

for a family of four during 2009 was set at $21,954 by the federal government.
So what are the solutions? Certainly, more jobs and more Americans staying in
school and finishing their education come to mind.

How about strengthening families and the institution of marriage? Marriage is
directly linked to poverty. A new study by the Heritage Foundation calls marriage
America’s number one weapon against childhood poverty.

Soros Vote Counters

George Soros said he was staying out of the 2010 elections. It appears he wasn't exactly telling the truth. After helping Al Franken steal a U.S. Senate seat in 2008, Soros's ultra-wealthy buddies in the Democracy Alliance, a billionaires' club that funds left-wing political infrastructure, are spending money to level the playing field for vote fraudsters. (Soros is also funding an effort to take away democratic elections for state supreme courts, as John Gizzi notes in a new Capital Research Center paper.)

Their money is flowing to secretary of state candidates directly and to the Secretary of State Project, a "527" political committee that can accept unlimited financial contributions that it doesn't have to disclose publicly until after the election. The SoS Project, which has raised at least $170,836 in this election cycle, is an officially approved Democracy Alliance grantee. Not surprisingly, members of the Alliance are opening their wallets to help secretary of state candidates across America endorsed by the SoS Project.

The purpose of the SoS Project is to destroy the remaining vestiges of electoral integrity. The group endorses left-wing, Democratic secretary of state candidates who have no respect for clean, honest elections.

Feminism is Anti-Family, Anti-Father, and Encourages the Feminization of the American Male

If "tolerance" is the core value of political correctness, feminism is its most cherished cause, and the implications of our cultural devotion to feminism are monstrous. Feminism is not about equal rights for women but about the feminization of the American male, an ideology that is anti-family and anti-father-and virtually guaranteed to bring about the wholesale destruction of the American family.

Squishy Republicans Decide to Hit the Jim

How do you thank the leaders responsible for energizing the base and backing true conservatives? Well, if one of them is Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.), you call him a "big loser" and promise to sharpen your knives. Welcome to the Republican Establishment, home of the fiscally moderate, socially progressive GOP. After what should have been a proud moment for all Republicans on Tuesday night, the GOP is angry about "what ifs"--particularly if it had won seats in Colorado, Delaware, and Washington--defeats they blame almost unanimously on Jim DeMint. Apparently, fighting to bring true conservative candidates into the Senate instead of weak-kneed moderates who oppose the Republican platform makes Sen. DeMint a villain. One of his colleagues said, "It's like you're on the five-yard line ready to score, and the quarterback calls the play, and some member of your team tackles one of your members and keeps you from scoring."

The only problem is that the "quarterback" is the old guard of the Republican Party. The same folks who backed big spending, pro-abortion, pro-gay GOP lap-dog incumbents. If it weren't for Sen. DeMint's primary upsets, America would be waking up to a Congress of Charlie Crists and Mike Castles--whose only distinction from the Democratic Party is the letter after their name! When it comes to electing people who will stick to the core values of conservatism, Sen. DeMint knows it's better to lose with a winner than win with a loser. And speaking of winners, his Tea Partiers had plenty. Thanks to his leadership, men like Pat Toomey (R-Pa.), Rand Paul (R-Ky.), Mike Lee (R-Utah), Marco Rubio (R-Fl.), and Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) have a new home in the Senate. Obviously, the Republican Party is upset because Sen. DeMint is effective--and he's effectively taking them back to their roots of social and fiscal discipline. But in the end the only opinion that matters is America's, and they think he's a hero. As do I.
