Houston's Nightmare Isn't MLK's Dream

In Houston, the country's biggest abortion clinic is "shaped like a cash register"--and set to act like one. Despite plenty of opposition, construction continues on Planned Parenthood's "abortion super center," a six-story building meant to end the stories of thousands of unborn children. Today, Ken Blackwell and I joined Lou Engle and other leaders in speaking to an estimated ten thousand people from across the country that gathered in Houston to stand for life. The event was focused on praying that Houston's eyes--and the eyes of the entire nation--would be open to the real agenda of the abortion industry.

The Marriage Penalty in Health Care

Hidden in Obama's health care bill is a huge marriage penalty. Both the Senate and House bills would set up yet another federal program to provide financial incentives to subsidize marriage avoidance and illegitimate offspring. Even though all evidence shows that marriage is the best remedy for poverty, lack of health care, domestic violence, child abuse, and school dropouts, federal welfare programs continue to discriminate against marriage and instead give taxpayer handouts to those who reject marriage. This isn't any accident; it is a central part of the Democrats' political strategy that produced 70 percent of unmarried women voting for Obama for President in 2008.

Obama Versus Bush on Spending

Consider that from Jan. 20, 2001, to Jan. 20, 2009, the debt held by the public grew $3 trillion under Mr. Bush—to $6.3 trillion from $3.3 trillion at a time when the national economy grew as well. By comparison, from the day Mr. Obama took office last year to the end of the current fiscal year, according to the Office of Management and Budget, the debt held by the public will grow by $3.3 trillion. In 20 months, Mr. Obama will add as much debt as Mr. Bush ran up in eight years. Mr. Obama's spending plan approved by Congress last February calls for doubling the national debt in five years and nearly tripling it in 10.

YOUR ACTION IS NEEDED!

Contact your WI State Legislators immediately and tell them NOT to support the National Popular Vote Bill that was circulated for cosponsorship today.

This is a direct attack on our U.S. Constitution. Long story short it would change the way we elect our President. It would create a situation in which a President could be elected with only 20% of the voting population instead of the current 51% of the electoral college. If there are 20 candidates running for president the winner would only need a majority (which could be 20% or less depending on how the votes are split up) in order to win. The candidates would only need to focus on the high populous areas in order win creating a VERY slanted playing field. How would you like CA, FL and NY being the biggest players in deciding who our President would be?

Spread the word! Tell everyone you know to contact their legislators right away. We need to stop this in its tracks!

Home Visits

Not as innocent as you may think. Read Article

"It reduced childhood injuries and unintended pregnancies, increased father involvement and women's employment.."

That is code for population control and forcing mothers out of the home and into the work place so that the state can raise the kids. Birth to death, that is the indoctrination program of the radical left. Sometime into the future "visits" could be come mandatory and if you home is not up to their standards are they going to take your kids?
